Luna and Solar Building, Wembley Park

Striking a Balance: Nature and Community in Podium Landscapes

Location London, UK

Our role included delivering the podium landscapes, rooftop amenity terraces, green roofs, bespoke play spaces and extensive tree planting, all developed in alignment with the project’s fire and safety strategies.

Working with client and main contractor, John Sisk & Son, BHSLA helped steer the development through the Building Safety Act Gateway process, securing one of London’s earliest Gateway 3 approvals. We maintained a clear safety record from Gateway 2 to occupation.

The landscape design promotes biodiversity through wildlife-friendly planting at both podium and rooftop levels.

The inclusion of extensive biodiverse rooftops and ornamental planting contributes to the site's urban greening factor (UGF). This approach enhances the environmental quality of Wembley Park, creating a vibrant, sustainable community space.
